Who We Are
Masoud Development Foundation (MDF) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Founded in response to the pressing challenges within our communities, MDF is dedicated to uplifting marginalized, vulnerable, and underserved groups through targeted development programs. We work across sectors to bring sustainable, inclusive change to Tanzania's mainland communities.
Since our registration in 2024 under the NGO Act No. 24 of 2002, we have remained committed to the principles of equity, dignity, and empowerment for all â especially women, children, and disadvantaged populations.

Our Team
Masoud Development Foundation (MDF) is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors that provides strategic leadership, oversight, and guidance to uphold the organizationâs mission and values. The Board ensures that MDF operates with transparency, accountability, and long-term vision, while supporting the growth and sustainability of its programs.
The Foundation is managed by a passionate and visionary leadership team composed of the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), and Chief Programs Officer (CPO). This executive team plays a central role in shaping MDFâs priorities, driving impact, and fostering innovation across all levels of the organization.
Supporting the leadership is a highly skilled and diverse group of professionals with expertise in community development, public health, education, women and child advocacy, water and sanitation, environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, communications, and monitoring and evaluation. Together, this dedicated team works collaboratively to implement people-centered programs, deepen community engagement, and advance inclusive
development across Tanzania.
